National Trust - West Wycombe Park

Park, Village and Hill, High Wycombe HP14 3AJ, UK – 01494 755571

The car park is a good 10 minutes walk from the manor house & we were directed across wet grass, lovely! Tours are by timed ticket only but you'll only get to see the ground floor as a generation of the Dashwood's still live here but as it's National Trust I think you should get to see more. Also no indoor photos. However what you do see on a guided tour is very interesting & vast grounds to walk around. Toilets in car park only no tea rooms.

Large National Trust country house of the Dashwood family (who still live here). This is a good half day out, take the tour and learn how the family modified the house, wander the park and explore the village. The Hell Fire caves are nearby, but not part of the NT. The church and mausoleum are on the hill overlooking the village, but there is a large car park on the hill top
