Our heart felt thanks for helping us to have such an incredible day. The venue was fantastic and looked stunning. Numerous guests commented on it, as well as the way the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, you made our day truly memorable. Thank you so much.

Local Chambers of Commerce for HP14 4UE. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
National Trust - West Wycombe Park

Park, Village and Hill, High Wycombe HP14 3AJ, UK – 01494 755571

Beautiful house set in wonderful gardens. Family seat of the Dashwood family. West Wycombe itself has interesting little shops including a brilliant sweet shop and The Apple Orchard. The Hell Fire Caves and St Lawrence's Church with its commanding views and its Golden Ball are also well worth a visit.

House is good and the grounds are beautiful. West Wycombe village is not good. Nothing to see really despite what the National Trust Website suggests. Take a picnic. Do not rely on local eateries. Unfortunately it is all set between two very busy roads which makes crossing dangerous and just not very pleasant to walk around. You have to pay to look round the caves even as National Trust member. £20 for family of four so not horrendous but we didn't go in so can't comment on value for money.

Buckinghamshire Business First

Saunderton Estate, Wycombe Rd, High Wycombe HP14 4BF, UK – 01494 568937

As a new business, we have felt very supported by all the people we have come into contact with at BBF. Their knowledge on all things 'business' has helped us connect with other entrepreneurs much more successfully than we could have achieved on our own. Special mention to Bhavneet for her assistance.

Fantastic local resource with excellent training events and workshops. Great networking events and support for local businesses.

Staff were really friendly when serving and, even though it was a rainy day, obliged us by feeding the red kites (a real treat!).

Food was amazing, you definitely leave with full stomach, staff are extremely friendly & welcoming .... Only 4 stars from me as rooms were quite small and low maintenance

Adams Park Stadium

Hillbottom Rd, High Wycombe HP12 4HJ, UK – 01494 472100

Friendly fans, good stands (even the away stand is good and you get to see a good sunset from there if you are lucky!) and facilities for a club that is fan owned. Plenty of match day parking on the industrial estate approach to the ground which is often a better bet for a quick get away compared to parking in the ground. One downside is there is only one road in and out so traffic either leave a game really or you'll be queuing amongst walking fans.

Visited Adam's park as an away fan and enjoyed the experience. Ground is straightforward to get to (through and industrial park) and has a decent size car park which costs £5. Leaving the car park at the end of the game will take quite a while as there is only one road to exit. The ground is small but the home fans/stewards are friendly.

Saint Lawrence Church

West Wycombe Hill, Church Ln, High Wycombe HP14 3AP, UK – 01494 713447

St Lawrence's church, up on the hill in West Wycombe is worth a visit. The interior is beautiful, with it's Egyptian style hall and Corinthian columns. The ceiling is superb. The "Golden ball' itself has seating for up to six people, and rumour has it that, the Hellfire Club, founded by Sir Francis Dashwood, met inside to play poker before going down into The Hellfire caves for something a bit more strenuous!.

A lovely walk up the hill. Goo spot for a picnic

Recycled Business Furniture

Bardeen House, Hillbottom Road, Sands Industrial Estate, High Wycombe HP12 4HJ, UK – 01494 448913

Just furnished my home office with the help of Recycled Business Furniture. The team were super helpful, suggesting I browse on line before visiting the showroom. So arrived with my shortlist for chairs, desk, pedestal, and table. I was quickly taken around to view all my shortlist items, made my choices and arranged delivery for 2 days later. The furniture all arrived in great condition (my family couldn't believe it was all pre-owned).The team even carried it up to my office ( up in the loft conversion!). I'll definitely be going back when I need anything else.

Really appreciate the professionalism of Mike and his team. As a small start up having the ability to buy used furniture but which is great quality is really important . Mike really helped us choose the right furniture and utilise the space we have. I couldn't recommend Recycled Business Furniture enough! David Ramsey, Managing Director. Radcliffe Cardiology.

West Wycombe Combined School

Church Ln, West Wycombe, High Wycombe HP14 3AH, UK – 01494 523318

i am aayan i go there i think it is ok but discipline is an issue and the way they deal with things i think they shood be a little stricter

Great school with high quality teaching. The teachers are committed to helping to develop well rounded pupils that can do more than just the 3 R's. The school is a central part of the community and does a great job making school fun and interesting.

Bardeen House, Hillbottom Rd, High Wycombe HP12 4HJ, UK – 07534 973423

Excellent Company to work with. Simon and Richard are really great people. Wide range of stock. Manage to find everything I needed under one roof. Thanks you.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Naphill

Kashmir Tandoori Take-Away

7 Mentmore Cl, High Wycombe HP12 4LU, UK – 01494 558855

I have been using this takeaway for the best part of 18 years, and can honestly say that the food has remained excellent throughout that time.I have used many Indian restaurants, and takeaways all over the country, but nothing surpasses the Kashmir. There is so much to choose from, and it is nicely presented. You are quoted a time of arrival which is kept to, and the staff are a pleasure to talk to.Would not go anywhere else in Wycombe.

We have ordered from here for years. Since the previous owner left little things have not been up to scratch. Mainly customer services, just ordered. Wrong item arrived, phoned only to be told that's what we ordered. No resolve , no help and no sorry. Sauce is also watered down. However food is really nice. Will be trying another takeaway.

The Black Lion

Woodlands Dr, High Wycombe, Naphill, High Wycombe HP14 4SH, UK – 01494 563176

Great family pub, good food and friendly staff! Pizza's and Sunday lunch our fave... and they do take away! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Very tasty food, great pizzas and good service. Highly recommended. The bouncy castle and children's play area gives this pub the edge.

The George & Dragon Hotel

High St, West Wycombe, High Wycombe HP14 3AB, UK – 01494 535340

Room was large and full of character, extremely comfy beds, the only downside was that there was no hot water in the morning (although we were up late). All the staff we met were very polite, pleasant and friendly. The meal that I ate was one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant (including Michelin star).

We stayed at the hotel as we had a wedding near by. The reception at the hotel was good, we arrived a bit earlier than check in time and are able to check in to the room already. The room was small but comfortabele and a good standard of cleanliness was maintained in both bed and bathroom. The bed was good, breakfast was good. Very friendly staff in hotel and pub. Would recommend

Nursery and Preschools

Sandcastle Nursery

1 Lane End Rd, High Wycombe HP12 4JF, UK – 01494 474848

I can't speak highly enough of Sandcastle Nursery. The facilities, care & activities are excellent and care administered in abundance with genuine love & enjoyement of the children, growing needs & changes are always adapted with common sense. My children are highly engaged at Sandcastle, with a wealth of learning and play activities they love spending time there. Kitchen is great and the kids seem to eat much more there than they do at home! Nothing is ever too much trouble for Fran and the management team, with every concern or last minute crisis catered for, with the peace of mind that flexible arrangements accommodated where possible and at short notice. Sandrine in Green room is a shining asset to the team, as is Naheeda, Megan, Charlotte & Joel, to name a few. What a fabulous nursery, a gem, and we're proud to say our children attend. Keep up the fabulous work guys x x

Our little boy has spent the last three years at Sandcastle Nursery. I cannot praise their service, attitude and hard work enough. They cover all the bases and maintain the highest standards you would expect from an Ofsted outstanding rated nursery. They are caring, inclusive and deliver a great service. And our little boy loves going there (although he is looking forward to school now). We will be going out of our way to send our second child there next year.

West Wycombe Pre-School

22 High St, West Wycombe, High Wycombe HP14 3AB, UK – 07767 422307

A really lovely pre school, with amazing staff that you can see love their job. My son has come on so much since going there and loves it. Will be a shame when he has to go to Infant school. Would most definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great Pre School in the area and a nice, safe environment. Keep up the good work!
